1. With all due respect, the situation with the press and Last of Us 2 isn’t nearly as simplistic as you make it out to be, there are a number of LGBTQ folks that are disturbed by how the game is covered at certain outlets: https://twitter.com/BootlegGirl/status/1278928784234885121

   • I don’t know, it really seems like that person is kind of sidestepping the issues like crunch and abusive practices in favour of “But it’s representation!” and, like, Laura especially has been highlighting the good things about the game! She literally did an entire video about how she thinks Last of Us 2 is amazing in terms of accessibility and how it should be the gold standard for accessibility in gaming. People have been glowing about aspects of the game, but that doesn’t mean it makes everything else go away. Maybe, if so many people are saying the same thing, they have a point?

     • Does not seem like “sidestepping” to me at all, and you have to understand this person is trans and got relentlessly harassed by indie devs in the past including the guy that made Night in the Woods, so she’s not exactly endeared towards that particular scene right now.
