Five Gaming Cocktails That Need to Exist

With the rise in popularity of video games, a number of bars and cafes have popped up around the world themed around the fantastic adventures of our favourite interactive protagonists.

While many gaming bars feature drinks based on video game franchises, it’s unlikely any of the below drinks are currently on drink menus.

The Megalovania

Themed around Undertale’s most notoriously difficult boss fight, the Megalovania would be theoretically survivable but still likely cause days of pain and suffering for even the most veteran drinkers.

We start with some vodka, rum, absinthe, window cleaning fluid, chemistry lab ethanol, five-hour energy and end by mixing in a little bit of blueberry juice to give it a nice neon-blue glow.

Getting through a glass might well kill you. Survival requires determination.

The Pokemon Go

The Pokemon Go is 151 different shots hidden around the bar. There’s an app that tells you where to find different shots, but chances are the app will be broken when you order and your drink will just disappear forever.

Also, a few of the shots may not exist, and a few may be region-specific to a bar in another country.

If you find any duplicate shots, you can trade them in at the bar for one you’ve not found yet.

Oh god, wait, how many shots are they up to now? 300+? Oh screw this, they keep adding more shots faster than i can find and drink them all.

The Bioshock Infinite

You drink a barrel full of vodka and live crows. If done correctly, you will fire live crows from your body when you burp.

Perfect for casual self-defence on a night out. Who doesn’t love drinking slightly gunky liquids that allow them to fire live birds at their enemies?

The Ocarina of Time

Continuous amounts of alcohol are pumped into your system intravenously until you pass out. Alcohol levels are carefully monitored to keep you comatose.

Once seven years have passed, you are awoken and, while still disoriented, told to go and fight an evil tyrannical dictator who threatens the safety of Earth.

The Katamari Damacy

The bartender rolls a large sticky ball across the liquor rack. Any bottles, nuts, fake nails or loose change that happens to stick to the ball are yours to drink.

Failing to drink the captured bottles will incur the wrath of an angry space King.

So, there’s our video game alcohol suggestions. Would you drink any of these glorious beverages? Do you have any drink suggestions of your own? Let us know in the comments below.
